Environmental and Occupational Health Issues

😊Hello!  This week I will be talking about Environmental Health Home assessment (Module1.5). The goal of this assignment is to asses my home for environmental health hazard. I've actually never done such assessment so I thought it would be an interesting assignment. Let's see how I did... p.s. images of the assessment will be present at the bottom The home I currently live in was built in 2003 so I didn't have many hazards in the house section. I don't think my house was ever tested for lead due to the year it was build. I do not have a basement so living space in basement did not apply to me. I will say I had never heard of home radon test and home radon ventilation systems. This was interesting because I had to do some extra research to clearly understand what radon was.  In my home I have a gas dryer that is vented, gas hot water heater that is vented, gas stove, fireplace, and combustion heating source.
